About Kingside
Kingside builds systems that carry routine work forward, so you have the capacity to serve more customers, try a new offer, or act on an idea you’ve been putting off.

01 / The person behind Kingside

A system nobody uses hasn’t solved the problem.
I’m Jeff, the founder of Kingside. My background is in teaching people how to put technology to work. That experience shapes how I build: I want to understand the job, hear from the people doing it, and put something useful in their hands.
If it adds another spreadsheet to maintain or another place to check, we need to look at what we’ve built.
I like working with owners who have something they want to make happen. Sometimes an urgent problem starts the conversation. Sometimes it’s an idea the business hasn’t had the capacity to pursue. My job is to help work out a practical path and build what it takes to get there.
You work with me directly, from the first conversation through the build and handoff.

02 / Working with your team
Hear from the people doing the job before deciding what to change.
Use ordinary cases and exceptions to check the system with your team.
Give your team the access, documentation, and training to run what we build.
03 / What you can expect
We explain the recommendation and what it will take to make it work. If a simpler process or a tool you already pay for solves the problem, we’ll say so.
Before a build starts, we agree on the result, scope, responsibilities, and how we’ll judge whether it works. We make clear what the system will handle and where a person needs to step in.
The handoff is part of the work. You receive a working system, access your business controls, usable documentation, and training. Continued help is optional and scoped separately.

Link to this answerNo. Bring the task that keeps coming back to you, or the idea you want to pursue. We’ll work through what needs to change and recommend a next step. You do not need a technical brief.
Link to this answerWe check what your existing tools support before proposing a new build. A useful feature you already pay for or a simpler process can be the right answer. When a connection is limited, we explain that before agreeing to build around it.
Link to this answerNo. The work determines whether AI belongs in the solution. Routine steps can run under agreed rules. Approvals and exceptions go to a person where the task or your business requires that. We agree on those boundaries before building.
Link to this answerNo. A clear problem can go directly to a scoped build. The SCORE Sheet assessment is useful when you need to compare opportunities and decide where to begin. It provides prioritized opportunities, a recommended first move, and a practical action plan. Talk about an assessment.
Link to this answerWe agree on the result, scope, cost, responsibilities, and how we will check the work before building. Timing follows the agreed scope and the access or decisions the project needs. Optional continuing work has its own scope.
Link to this answerYes. New builds include a working system, access your business controls, usable documentation, appropriate training, and a clear route for failures or changes. The handoff gives your team or another capable provider what they need to take over. Continued support is optional. Third-party software and usage costs can continue.
